Reverse Applique Using Batik Fabric

Cleaning out my supplies and downsizing is a struggle I have. These 6”x"6” canvases ( eight of them) have been taking up space in my cupboard for years. Last week I decided to use them in a reverse appliqué project.

I put the same appliqué on a bright background. Using the same technique.

When doing this technique, four different appliqués are created. I made a colorful accent pillow and a decorated a tote bag with the remaining pieces.
