Using Stamped Images in a Project

stamped images on muslin

Happy New Year everyone! Over the holidays, I took a couple of weeks off from sewing. I’m not going to lie- it’s been hard getting back into the groove. Until…..I received a package from a wonderful subscriber. She sent me oodles of stamped images on fabric.

She used a permanent ink for stamping so I can use them on my sewing creations.

This package of goodies really inspired me to create my next project.

I used some of the stamped twill tape and one of the tree images to help create this purse. I love the nature theme!

Color was added to some of the fabric with Derwent Inktense Blocks. I love coloring! Such a kid at heart!

The purse measures approximately 12” wide by 10” high. Fusible foam adds structure to the bag. I added some of the stamped twill tape to the inside pocket. It’s all in the details!

I filmed the process in this video. Enjoy!
