It’s hard to believe these nifty inserts started with a piece of white denim.  I broke out my Gelli Plate to quickly add acrylic paint to the background.

I’ve added lots of interest to the covers with free-motion stitchings, stamps, tags and bits of lace.

When adding backgrounds to the white denim, I love using the 12×14 inch Gelli Plate by GelliArts.
