This week I shared another free-motion stitching project. I am making new fabric from scraps and bits.  I love the results!  I turned the fabric into these zippered clutches.  Each is so different.

A wonderful viewer sent me Happy Mail!  Inside was a beautiful pin cushion and a bag of her serger thread collection.  Oh the possibilities!  Take a look at this thread!

In this tutorial, I show how I created new fabric using this thread and bits of scrap fabric.

The outer layer is a tulle or netting. Because this is quite delicate, I demonstrate how I put protected corners on my clutches. I will also show how easy it is to make a detachable strap. Enjoy!
