Testing Watercolor on Fabric, An Appliquéd Farm Scene

I found this wonderful background fabric last winter while visiting Mesa, AZ. It has hills and valleys and has a Folk Art look to it. The fabric is: Mountain Pines - Pine Lullaby Rediscovered by AGF Studio.

Applying Watercolor to Fabric

I had so much fun adding color to the background with my Koi watercolor set. I used a couple of drops of fabric medium to the watercolors. I then heat set the piece and washed and dried it. Next came the farm scene.
