Stitched Art

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything but I wanted to share this little stitched art that I made. It is sewn on a light weight cotton canvas. I backed it with Warm and Natural Quilt batting, then stitched the design using free-motion. Color was then added with Derwent Inktense Pencils. The finished piece is glued to a navy mat board. Here are some pictures of the finished piece. A scrap of crocheted edging was added for the grass and the stamped word “bloom” is the final touch.
