Painting Fabric using a Gelli Plate

Painting fabric using my gel plate makes me happy! I think it reminds me of finger painting as a kid. Let’s get messy! The fabric I used was a black-out lining fabric by Roc-lon. This fabric takes paint wonderfully and doesn’t fray. After the fabric dried, I cut this fun sun appliqué from it and used it on several projects. The words “hello sunshine” was cut from contact paper using my Cameo Silhouette and stenciled onto the projects. Here are some pictures:
